In January 2012, I was connected with Compost For Brooklyn to help create signage and brochures in several languages to educate adults and kids about the benefits of composting. The Center is located in Milford, Pennsylvania. They asked me to create a new logo to communicate their core values: trust, active, respect and strength, in a modern way. Jon Plasse is a photographer in New York City. In "The Light Remains," Jon chronicles the passing of his mother Sherley through photographs of their last days together, and of the many mementos that she left behind. Andy Jacobson and I worked with Jon to arrange and display his work in the book. We considered light, rhythm and pace in the design.
